Emma Newton

Emma Newton is the Oregon Organizer with the Factory Farm Team at Food & Water Watch. Based in Portland, she is working with Oregonians and the Stand Up To Factory Farms Coalition to build support for a Mega Dairy moratorium and hold politicians accountable.

Prior to joining Food & Water Watch, Emma was an independent Impact Producer, building capacity and refining communications with coalitions and groups working in the sustainable agriculture field.  Emma is a graduate of Vermont Law School's Masters of Food and Agriculture Law and Policy program and holds an MS in Anthrozoology from Canisius College.
