Zhenya Polozova
Zhenya is based in the Chicago office and works with activists around the Great Lakes Region to stop the privatization of public utilities and halt fossil fuel expansion.
Prior to joining Food & Water Watch, Zhenya graduated from Loyola University of Chicago with a degree in Environmental Science and Information Systems. Throughout her attendance at Loyola University, Zhenya interned with Food & Water Watch several times, co-led an anti-Dakota Access Pipeline campaign at her school, researched diesel particulate pollution concentrations in Chicago, and worked for a cleantech accelerator.
