Middleburg, FL -- Clean water advocates plan to stage a large burning sink faucet in front of the Clay County municipal building on Friday to call attention to the impacts the dangerous practice of fracking has on drinking water. Advocates are calling on Senator Rob Bradley to bring SB 462, the ban fracking bill, to a vote in his Appropriations Committee next week. 

The Senate Appropriations Committee is slated to meet once more this session - Tuesday February 27th. Floridians across the state have made close to 2,000 calls to Senator Bradley’s office urging him to bring the ban fracking bill for a hearing.
