Governor Lamont: We're Ready to Ban Fracking Waste

Cities and towns across the state of Connecticut have passed 58 local bans against toxic fracking and drill waste. The grassroots organizing to get to this point has been nothing short of incredible. And now a state-wide ban can protect all of Connecticut’s 169 communities.
This year, we broke through: The waste ban bill passed 36-0 in the Senate, and 147-1 in the House. Now it's up to Governor Ned Lamont to sign this bill into law.
The governor has said he supports a fracking waste ban. Now he needs to show it. That's why we sent a letter, signed by many of our allies in the long fight, urging him to sign the bill into law, and give us all a chance to celebrate this milestone victory.
Tell Governor Lamont: Sign the fracking waste ban into law!
