Alison Grass is the Research Director for Food & Water Watch. She manages a broad-based policy research team and projects, and coordinates research materials, publications and tasks that support fast-paced organizing and advocacy campaigns on climate, energy, water, food and sustainable agricultural issues. Alison is a skilled advocacy and public policy researcher. Her research and expertise at Food & Water Watch is primarily focused on climate and energy - and she has published dozens of research reports and materials on hydraulic fracturing, petrochemical and plastics manufacturing, the fossil fuel industry, environmental justice, and more. Alison also has done some research on the corporate control of water resources, as it relates to bottled water, and has experience doing research on campaign finance and money in politics.

She has a Master’s degree from Alabama A&M University in Urban Planning, specialized in Environmental Planning, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. You can reach Alison at agrass(at)fwwatch.org.
