Our Fish Program specifically works to promote clean, green, safe seafood for consumers, while helping to protect the environment and support coastal communities.

As an intern with the Fish Team, you will be working directly with experienced organizers, policy experts and lobbyists to create effective grassroots campaigns and effect change at a state and national level.   You will also increase skills to translate complex information into written and online outreach materials and learn methods of strategic thinking, power-mapping and investigative research used in organizing.

Spring, Fall: This position may be full- or part-time (~15 hours per week minimum). Spring dates are January-May. Fall term dates are September – December.
Summer: This position is full-time and runs for 10 weeks during May-August. Small stipends may be available for summer interns.

Our Fish Program challenges the privatization of our ocean resources, educates the public to promote sustainable seafood consumption, and fights for the interests of small fishermen and coastal communities which deliver consumers safe and healthy seafood.  The fish program is currently accepting applications for an advocacy and research internship.
