Protect Central Valley Groundwater

Ask that dairies clean up their mess!

Cows California's Central Valley is home to nearly 3 million cows. That's a lot waste and a serious risk to those Valley residents who depend on groundwater as their drinking water source.

The Valley's Water Board is rolling out a new program to monitor the quality of groundwater near the most polluting dairies, but the dairy industry is submitting its own plan for how the monitoring program should be run. If accepted, it could weaken the Water

You can help by signing a petition letting the Water Board know that you think the plan should be even more stringent so that residents in the Valley have access to clean, safe drinking water.
