Proposition 4, California’s Climate Bond is projected to pass. Isabel Penman, Northern California Organizer for Food & Water Watch released the following statement: 

“Californians have made their voices clear: we should make bold investments to protect our land, air and water. From extreme heat and wildfires to longer dry periods and sea level rise, our state is on the front lines of climate impacts and we need bonds like Proposition 4 which will restore funding to programs that mitigate climate change effects and ensure access to clean air and water. Now, our leaders must listen to Californians and also be bold in reining in the major polluters that are harming our climate in the first place.”
