President-elect Donald Trump has announced his intention to nominate Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz for the position of Attorney General. Gaetz has been under investigation by various authorities for alleged legal improprieties. He is also a noted ally of the oil and gas industry and an opponent of taking real action to combat climate change.

In response to the nomination Food & Water Watch Managing Director of Policy and Litigation Mitch Jones said:

“Oh, for f*ck’s sake.”

He added: “The Senate should overwhelmingly reject this nomination.”
