Peter Thacher

Peter Thacher is an Associate Digital Producer at Food & Water Watch. Based in our D.C. office, he works on creating content to support campaign priorities and research on social media and the website.

Previously, Peter worked with Lead Locally, where he conducted research on proposed fossil fuel infrastructure and organized volunteers to support climate friendly candidates’ election to office. Peter also co-founded the fossil fuel divestment campaign at the University of Pennsylvania, and has organized for climate justice for over 5 years. Peter holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies and Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania. He can be reached at pthacher(at)fwwatch.org.
