Florida Deserves Better. And We Can Get There.

75% of Floridians Don't Want Fracking -- And They Banned It Locally
Big Oil has been flooding elected officials with campaign donations to drown out the call for a statewide ban. But over 90 communities, (representing almost 75% of Floridians) passed local measures to keep fracking out -- a clear signal to elected officials that constituents don't want fracking. This past year, we got closer than ever to passing a full ban, and with bipartisan support. The Environmental Preservation and Conservation Committee even voted unanimously in favor of a ban bill in the Florida Senate.
Legislators Played The Blame Game And Haven't Banned It -- Yet
The people of Florida deserve better. And we're not going to stop until our legislators pass the ban.

There's Another Way To Move Off Fossil Fuels
In the meantime, a quick first step is supporting the federal bill to move the country off fossil fuels and onto 100% renewable energy by 2035. No fossil fuels means no fracking. And this bill ensures a just transition to renewables that will support impacted communities and create hundreds of thousands of jobs.
